The 4th annual Swing & Strut for Sarcoma

The 4th annual Swing & Strut for Sarcoma in honor of Mickey Stachel, who passed away from sarcoma in 2012, surpassed 100 participants for the first time in the event’s history.

Every year this event serves as a means to raise awareness of sarcoma and funds for research of this rare, aggressive form of cancer. It’s also a celebration of Mickey – his kindness, humor, generosity, and caring nature.

This year the Swing & Strut for Sarcoma raised over $11,000. Proceeds will support a grant to research immunotherapy, an innovative cancer treatment approach, at Stanford University.

We are grateful that Mickey’s life continues to provide the opportunity to connect those invested in the fight against sarcoma while giving hope and strength to those currently battling this rare, aggressive form of cancer. We are in a race against time and are determined that, with your continued support, we will find a cure.
