We are honored to have been able to fund a grant in memory of Florentina Prisācaru that will provide financial assistance to sarcoma patients seeking second opinion consultations through our partnership with the Sarcoma Alliance.

Florentina Prisācaru’s fierce battle with sarcoma came to an end last week. Many of you recognize her as the vibrant, dynamic young woman who spoke at two of this year's Wendy Walks. Florentina was one of those rare people who could come into your life and completely change it for the better with one conversation. She wanted the chance to inspire other patients to stay positive and fight their battles with hope, and we are honored to have been a part of her platform to share this message. We encourage you to listen to the words Florentina shared with us in New York and Los Angeles (as well as her TED Talk, if you speak Romanian). We know our community shares in our heartbreak, and we promise to keep fighting in memory of and for Florentina.
