Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

President Barack Obama designated September as National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in 2012 to bring awareness to childhood cancer, which is the leading cause of death by disease for children under the age of 15. This month, we’ll be sharing stories of young people battling sarcoma, which makes up about 15% of pediatric cancers. But first we’re calling on our friends at St. Jude to shed a little bit of light on childhood cancer.
